The Oxford master's in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics is jointly offered by the Oxford Mathematical Institute and the Department of Physics/Theoretical Physics. Mathematical and Theoretical Physics is a large area of research in Oxford, with about 30 members of faculty, 40 postdoctoral fellows and 60 PhD students across both departments. The course lecturers are leading researchers in the relevant areas.
